ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

I began taking the photographs included on this website in 1987. The first photographs were of Grantchester Meadows, a stretch of river and pasture just outside Cambridge, my home town.

These days, other landscapes exert their pull, particularly the North Norfolk coast, Dartmoor and the far west of Cornwall.

When not taking photographs, I work as a freelance editor and writer, mainly in consumer magazines, based in north London.
